William Colbert (1764-1833) was a Methodist Episcopal Church minister who served several circuits in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, and Virginia. He was admitted on trial to the Philadelphia Conference in 1790. In 1826 he was readmitted as a supernumerary in the Philadelphia Conference. He was instrumental in forming the Strousburg (Pennsylvania) and Milford circuits.
