This collection is made up of material from the Annual Conferences and local churches of the Church of the United Brethren in Christ. The material consists of minutes, histories, photographs, publications, and news clippings and does not contain church records such as baptismal, membership, marriage etc.

This record group contains administrative records, as well as staff records from the division on curriculum research and development, the division of Higher Education, the Division of the Local Church, general youth fellowship material and various publications. The Administrative series contains executive meeting minutes, minutes of the board, audit reports and ad hoc committee reports. The Division of Curriculum contains meeting minutes and reports from various sub committees. The Division of Higher Education contains reports and correspondence with various schools supported by the denomination. The Division of the Local Church contains resources developed for the local church and Sunday school, meeting and convention minutes, and information relating to camping. General Youth Fellowship contains information about general conventions, resources developed for youth programs, and youth council minutes. Publications are resources developed for the local church and college programs.

The papers contains file folders on various places, organizations, and people Ralph T. Templin associated with during his missions. There are five files while he was at Central State University. Eight files directly related with missionary work in India but there are a number of others also pertaining to the India Missions. Eight files on the Puerto Rican independence nationalist movement which Ralph Templin strongly supported. There are various amounts on information pertaining to the Peacemaker movement and a number of files on personal correspondence. The other folders are manuscripts and published works. Some files contain photographs and newspaper clippings. The last box of the collection contains three large copies of Templin's, "Farewell Address" at Clancey High School. Two of the copies are in English and the final copy is in Sanskrit.

This collection primarily documents the work and ministry of the Evangelical Church's annual conferences and local churches from the middle nineteenth century to the middle twentieth century. To a lesser degree there are records that reflect the ministry of the general church as well. There are other records that pertain to filial denominations such as the Evangelical Association, United Evangelical Church, Church of the United Brethren in Christ (United Brethren Church), and the Evangelical United Brethren Churches are also found in this collection. Leedy was an avid collector of church related information so that the topical landscape of this collection is broad enough to cover information ranging from local church ministries and histories to denominational theological beliefs and social concerns. Most of the paper records center on church work in the Ohio region though not to the exclusion of other geographic areas within the continental United States and Germany. All in all this collection provides a nice overview of the diversified life within the Evangelical tradition and is an excellent resource for those who wish to understand more fully the Evangelical Church's historical influence within the ongoing traditions of United Methodism.

This collection is made up of records of the various agencies of the church. It also includes material regarding local churches and annual conferences. The collection is made up of fourteen series. The four largest series which make up the bulk of the collection are the Woman's Missionary Society, Missionary Society, Annual Conferences, and Sunday School and Tract Union.

This collection contains John Kiracofe's notes about various ministers and church histories. A great deal of this material deals with genealogy. There are photographs and negatives depicting the Deardroff home, Anson Brazee, and Bertha E. Deardroff . There is a booklet by Bertha E. Deardorff about her own family genealogy. Pamphlets, bulletins and newspaper clippings about the EUB church are also included. The collection contains a short play written by Thelma Moyer Starner, event programs from the Pennsylvania Conference, a publication titled The Chatterbox and two certificates.

This collection contains many of Drury's publications: his biography of Otterbein, as well as a number of pamphlets; photographs; Drury's letters that he authored, and letters he received; letters or collections of old works that Drury kept for himself.

Among his letters, most of them are demonstrative of the kind of inquiry he was making into Otterbein and the history of the United Brethren Church in Christ. For the kind of histories that Drury was writing, he was meticulous about dates and the need to keep them straight in order to construct a coherent history. Much of his personal notes contain lists of dates, where it is clear he was hovering over the page attempting to connect disperate material or events. The largest collection of letters comes between 1883-1884, where Drury was ostensibly doing the bulk of his historical writing and attempting to contact any living witnesses available.

The photographs of this collection are largely unmarked, though there is at least one picture of A.W. Drury that is identified.

Drury's interest in Christian apologetics eventually led to an interest in things secular, as he later developed an interest in behavioral patters and their relation to religion; this led to his interest in William James, and the pamphlet he wrote on Psychology of Religion.

Thirteen composition books belonging to Maude Spitler are included in this collection. These books appear to be notebooks from classes Spitler took. Some of the classes include English, composition and rhetoric, science, mathematics, chemistry, and geography. The handwriting is clear. The inclusive dates appear to be 1892-1984. Spitler attended an academic institution identified only as C.H.S. near Dayton, Ohio. In addition there is a 1892 report from the Covington Protestant Children's Home of Covington, Kentucky, as well as assorted publications by John William Lloyd.

This collection is made up of material related to the division of the Church of the United Brethren in Christ in 1889 and the property disputes related to the division.
